Lockdown 2

Hi bloggers at home! Auckland is in level 3 so we're stuck at home! Waikowhai Primary has started doing google meets at 9:15. We get to see each other but on google meet. If you don't know what a google meet is, it is a site that is like face talk. It's like ZOOM. On Fridays we have a whole syndicate meeting. On Tuesdays we go to our reading teacher. But on Thursday we go to our math teacher. On all the other weekdays, we just go to our own class teacher. I love google meets because I get to see my friends. I hope it goes down to level 2 soon. 😢😢😢 Also the work is not that hard, so teachers if you are looking at this please make work a bit harder!!!!

  1. Hi Jihu!
I love how you explained what a google meet is. I’ve been enjoying them too. I really like how you messaged the teacher too, it’s quite funny. Have you been enjoying the online learning work? I have. The tasks are really fun. Overall, amazing blog post. I am looking forward to seeing your other posts. Keep safe and have a fantastic weekend, blog you later!

  2. Kia ora Ji Hu, I really like how you explained the difference meetings with staff. I will make sure I pass on the message about the difficulty level of the work to the other staff. Have you thought about how you could challenge yourself to make the work more difficult, what additional learning could you do after you've completed your set tasks? It would be awesome to see some of your work posted on your blog, so that we can see what you've been doing. Have a good weekend, we'll see you in the meetings next week :-)

  3. Hi Ji Hu
You do have a great range of Google Meets so you get to spend time with your subject teachers. What a good way of arranging them. If you are finding the work too easy maybe you could think about how you could add to it to make it a little more challenging for yourself. Give it a try. I like to see a blog post where you explain how you increased difficulty. You may inspire your classmates to do the same thing and challenge themselves also.
The good news Ji Hu is that we now know we are going down to level 2 on Sunday night at 11.59. Lockdown has been a lot shorter this time which I'm sure many people are very happy about.
Stay safe and well and we will see you on Monday at school.
